A lot of people think a glowy makeup look comes from highlighter, but that's actually only a small part of it.
The glow starts with the overall balance of the makeup—warmth in the complexion, strategic placement of light, and products that blend seamlessly into the skin. The goal is to create dimension without making the skin look shiny or overly reflective.
When I'm building a bridal look, I'm always thinking about how the makeup will translate in person, in photos, and under different lighting conditions throughout the day.
These are some of my go-to products for creating a soft, luminous glow that still looks like skin.

Before I ever pick up a brush, I ask questions. Because the best bridal looks always start with a real conversation.
I want to know how you wear your makeup on a regular Tuesday. I want to know what makes you uncomfortable, what you have pinned, what you are nervous about. The more I understand you, the better I can make sure you actually feel like yourself on your wedding day.

Skin that looks like you just walked out of the best sleep of your life, that’s the goal on every wedding morning.
What you’re seeing here isn’t a filter or heavy product. It’s layered skincare prep, a foundation mixed with one drop of facial oil, and strategic highlight placement that works with your natural bone structure instead of against it.
I always tell my brides: the products are maybe 20% of this. The other 80% is what your skin is doing underneath. Come to your trial hydrated, know your skin, and let’s build from there.

We focused on sheer to medium coverage with Dior face and body foundation so her skin still looked healthy and never too heavy. I used neutral eyeshadows from the Natasha Denona I Need a N**e Eyeshadow Palette and a little glow from Charlotte Tilbury highlight.
