Grooming is an experience, not an errand. The shop is inspired by richness and depth of premium barrel-aged whiskey.

I deliver sharp cuts and luxurious hot-towel shaves and scalp massages. Warm lighting, wood textures and refined services.

Dog drop ins always make the day better! Jake from State Farm stopped in with his mom, this evening. Got some pets and sniffs.
Jake was adopted from my rescue many years ago and gets to go to Purina every day for work! 💜💈

I am very happy with the way the shop had come together. The vibe is good. A very important piece was missing, though.
I ordered a handmade, made-to-order barber pole. I love it!
Red= blood
White= bandages
Blue= veins
Barbers used to do dentistry and blood letting. The original barber-surgeons hung bloodstained and clean bandages out to dry, which twisted in the wind to create the iconic spiral pattern.

Look at these cutie transformations!
Reagan hit the modeling spotlight with long layers and face framing. 🙌
Noah showed me a haircut he wanted. These are lessons for these boys. I can do any cut, you have to do the work to look like the style you want.
My example is a white child with fluffy light brown haired showing me a picture of Cristiano Ronaldo and expecting that crisp line and flow.
I can do that cut. But, he is Portuguese. This will take work.
Noah’s hair is a work in progress. With washing, blow drying in an upward motion and product.

Let’s wish Noah luck!

Not a whole lot of time for pictures, again!
These two were two of my favorites.

David is a friend of my son’s. He’s got a great head of hair. Asian hair is extremely difficult and completely satisfying to cut. He looked amazing and seemed pleased. Plus, he’s such a cutie and super sweet!

Scott had a complete transformation. He looked amazing and I’m pretty sure he was feeling just as amazing. He said, “you are my favorite barber and this is my favorite shop.” 💜 He liked the bangs in front but when I asked to make it preppy for just a second he agreed and SMILED so big. I love these transformations. My youth clientele are such an important part of my job.

I’ve been extremely busy at the shop. Have not taken many pictures of haircuts, at all. None, actually.
What goes on in the shop is quality relationships, conversations, kids being silly and sweet, dogs visiting and supervising. Lots of laughs. Lots of listening.
I don’t have time for pictures.
But, I managed a few.
Kids being tired. Kids being cute.
A big kid graduation, making waves at Vianney, a kid that doesn’t say much had mom send me a pic of his prom get-up 💜 I love it!
And the last one is education. (Thank you, Carol!) This gentlemen cannot come to the shop so I go see him. I saw a spot of concern on his head we watched a bit. I told his wife it should be looked at bc I had a suspicion. I was right. Squamous cell. The wound looks great, his wife is a great nurse 👩‍⚕️but we are the eyes that see the back and top of your head, neck and ears. (I was also a derm nurse. This is the second correct diagnosis in 3 years!) Guys! Please take note when something is mentioned. I gotchoo.

Just two adult men talking about solving Rubik’s cubes at the barbershop! 😂
I love my job!
