🎨✨ Trailblazer. Advocate. Visionary. These words barely capture the monumental impact Richard Beavers has had on both the fine art world and the Black community. As the founder of the Richard Beavers Gallery in Brooklyn and SoHo, Richard is one of the few Black male gallerists to own two galleries in New York City—a groundbreaking achievement that speaks volumes about his vision and perseverance.

The Richard Beavers Gallery is not just an art space; it’s a cultural institution and a beacon for Black artists. Through compelling exhibitions that confront critical social and political issues, Richard has redefined how Black art is showcased, celebrated, and consumed.

His contributions have broken barriers in an industry that has historically marginalized Black voices. Earning him accolades, including being named one of NYC’s 50 most influential art figures by MoCADA.

🌍 And now, Richard’s vision is reaching new heights. This December, during Art Basel Miami, he’s taking his transformative mission to the Miami Design District through the KITH Creative Arts Activation in collaboration with and . This initiative will spotlight young talent from underserved communities such as Overtown, Little Haiti, and Liberty City—empowering the next generation through art, fashion, tech, and activism.
