Patients often ask is a mask mandatory in our office. The short answer is No. It’s optional. In most cases when I’m working on the face, I will need to remove the mask so I can perform a full evaluation. I also schedule my patients so that there’s not much overlap or running into a crowd.

Why do I always wear a mask? Because I see many patients daily and some of my patients may not be vaccinated or they may have other issues that puts them at increased risk.
So while I am vaccinated and boosted, I always wear a mask to keep everyone I come in contact with feel safe and comfortable.
