Hip pain or lower back pain that won’t seem to release?
It’s often not just “tight muscles.”
When the gluteus medius is weak or inhibited, the pelvis shifts during movement. That instability forces the hip joint and lower back to compensate — leading to recurring pain, stiffness, or a feeling that things just won’t loosen up.
This hip release exercise combines abduction with external rotation to retrain proper hip stability, reduce strain on the lower back, and restore better movement control.
This is especially helpful if you: • Have chronic hip or SI discomfort
• Feel uneven when walking or standing
• Get low back pain after sitting or activity
• Have already tried stretching with little relief
Pain relief starts with stability, not just stretching.

Hip Tension Release (Outer Hip Tightness)

Neck pain usually isn’t the real problem.
Most of the time, the neck is compensating for restricted upper back and shoulder movement — doing work it was never designed to handle long-term.
