After 4 years of being in a salon suite, I have decided to move back into a salon with my girls! I will be working alongside my former employees at Salon Blu in Athens. I am beyond excited for this opportunity to continue doing what I love! I can’t wait to make new memories with my salon family! I will start at my new location on October 12th and you can still use my online booking system to make appointments, until I update everything. I will eventually transfer everything and the look of this page. I appreciate everyone who has supported me and my boys over the years, and I completely understand the drive may be too much for some. I am looking forward to being with my old friends again!

HELLO FRIENDS! 👋 My salon is back up and running at a new location called MidTown Suites!!! The address is 844 Slaughter Rd. in Madison. It is across from Building Church and next to Eastview Family Dentistry on the corner of Eastview and Slaughter Rd. I will be opening my book back up only a few days a week until January. This has been one of the most bizarre years I’ve ever witnessed, personally and globally. I appreciate the support from everyone in my client family. God is still God and He is ultimately in control!!

As we enter this new normal next week, please be patience with me while I adjust! Things will look and feel completely different, but it will be fun!

I also still have two boys who have school to finish this coming week(Monday, May 11-15), so I won’t be able to fully open until the week of the 18th, and that will be limited as well due to summer child care being canceled.

Please remember that I will have March and April to reschedule. If you haven’t heard from me, I will be In touch in the next few days via text! So please be on the lookout.

My online booking system is also shut down, so I will handle getting people in as quickly as possible.

It’s taken me a day to process this, but we are now closed until May 15th. I’ve decided not to schedule any new appointments because everything is up in the air currently. Pray for your hairstylist friends! Miss and love you all!

Unfortunately, due to the “Shelter-in-Place” order that started today at 5:00pm, our salon will be closed until April 30th. Stay tuned for further updates. I love and miss you ALL!

Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, The ACT of Colour Hair Salon will be closing today at 5 pm until April 17th.

I want to personally thank those of you who have reached out in the past two weeks and blessed my boys and I!! You all are the best family!

I will be reaching out to clients to reschedule you, or you can go online and rebook your appointment for after April 17th.

If you would like to buy a gift certificate or prepay for you next service, that would be amazing. Venmo and PayPal have been a great source for sending money electronically! These are unprecedented times, but I will make the most of it by spending some much needed time with my boys!

During this time, please don’t cut or box color your hair!! We will all look awesome in two weeks with roots! 😂

Hello everyone!!! Its been a while!! We are having a “Pamper Mom” day this Saturday May 12th from 2-5:30 at the Downtown Rescue Mission for the ladies at the Owen’s House. We are going to make them feel extra special and beautiful and do fun activities with the kids! We will be doing hair and makeup and are in need of stylists and donations such as makeup. We will have a team unloading a truck that is full of donations collected by our diaper drive last weekend, and we need more volunteers to help unload and organize those donations. We will also be prepping their food for them! If you would like to help or make a donation, please come see me at Sola Salons Studios at The ACT of Colour before Saturday! The ACT of Colour Hair Salon has been officially moved to Sola Salon Studios, located at 7696 Hwy 72 W, Suite 20 Madison..in the TJ Max shopping center..behind Aldie grocery store. You can still contact Suzanne with the salon number at 256-270-9230, and book online with me, and you can find Stephanie at Salon Blu in Athens Alabama. This wasn't an easy decision, but our lease came was over at the end of this month, and I decided it would be easier to not run a salon and focus more on my family. Thank you all for your continued support!!!

I (Suzanne) want to take a moment, while I have it, and update everyone on my NEW mission trip and NEW business adventure! I want to take a moment first and thank each and every one of you for not only supporting me and my stylists at The ACT of Colour, but also supporting my mission trip..and my life in general! 😜 My Israel trip was almost completely funded, but they had to move it to October due to several different reasons! Which left me with a lot of time to get ready..but then I quickly realized my baby brothers wedding is right in the middle of those dates! Israel should be there for a while, but my brother is only getting married once!!! So I won't be visiting Israel this year! And after a lot of prayer, I think the Lord is leading me to the LA Dream Center in June, where I can really do the work I was called to do! I'm still in prayer about all of this, so please pray for me! Church of the Highlands will hold the money regardless so I can go on a future mission trip! NOW..on to even bigger news..The ACT of Colour Hair Salon will be moving in a month! I know, short notices are how I roll apparently! It will just be me, moving to the Sola Salon suites off of HWY 72 next to TJ Max. This was a tough decision for me to make, but it's hard running a business and being a single mom..and I was called to be a momma first. This move will allow me to spend more time with my kids and take a lot of responsibility off of my shoulders so I can sow into my babies more. They need their momma and I'm blessed to be able to do this! All scheduling will remain the same, and I'm hoping I can transfer the number! You will just come to a different location now! The new address will be 7696 HWY 72 W , Madison AL, Suite 20. This is a downsizing for me and maybe we can upsize again one day, but this season of life is important and it's time to prioritize! Again thank you ALL for your support, love, business, and prayers!! There is a lot to do..like sell all of the stuff currently in the salon!
