A healer will trigger you. It’s inevitable. That’s their purpose to trigger you into healing. To trigger your wounds to surface. To trigger you to face your own darkness. To trigger you to grow and evolve into your higher self, doesn’t mean they’re bringing out the worst than you. On the contrary, they are bringing you closer to the best in you. Intention and energy matters. 👋🏾

Hey guys,
For those who don’t know me, I am a massage therapist as well as a Reiki practitioner (energy healer). Today was the first day I intentionally combined. Reiki healing with massage working with this first time client I can tell by touching her that there were trauma and emotional baggage that she was holding onto in her thighs and lower region using Reiki while massaging my hands begin to get hot, and I could literally feel her emotions that she was holding her body. Within the massage, there was a lot of release that happened physically with the muscles as well as emotionally because my client had times where she started to cry, I could feel all of emotions as well and I started to cry. This was the first time that I have ever experienced a spiritual healing massage with a client. I’m sharing this with you guys, because I really feel like this is a start of a new chapter in healing this journey of mines. And others and watch us heal.

“Treat others the way you want to be treated” I have found that doesn’t work so I “Treat ppl how they treat me” when u flip the coin… they confused. I am just reciprocating the energy you give me 🤷🏽‍♀️

Today I woke up feet swollen making it hard to walk. Not only that it was raining cats and dogs when I woke up. I told myself see even nature wants me to take a break

Later my brother asked, David Brooks u not walking today? There always gonna be an excuse of why not to, but u have to be consistent with anything to see results

I needed words of encouragement, the rain subsided and i pushed pass my swollen ankles and walked through the pain. Nobody said it was easy but gonna be well worth the journey
