June is Skin Care Awareness Month! ✨
Healthy skin is more than just looking good—it’s about caring for the body’s largest organ. Taking time to nourish your skin is an act of self-care, confidence, and wellness.
🌞Protect your skin from the sun. Wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every day, even when it’s cloudy, and reapply if you’re outdoors.
💧 Stay hydrated. Drinking plenty of water helps support your skin’s natural functions and overall health.
🧼 Cleanse gently. Wash your face twice a day and after sweating using a cleanser that’s appropriate for your skin type. Avoid harsh scrubbing, which can irritate the skin.
✨ Moisturize daily. Keeping your skin hydrated helps strengthen its protective barrier and can reduce dryness and irritation. PUT LOTION ON WHILE SKIN IS WET! If you put lotion on while skin is dry, you’re wasting the lotion 🤷🏽♀️
🧴 Exfoliate in moderation. Remove dead skin cells 1–2 times per week with a gentle exfoliant. Over-exfoliating can damage your skin barrier. STIRE BOUGHT SCRUBS HAVE TOXIC INGREDIENTS IN THEM, opt for natural scrubs.. Honey's Sweet Face and Body LLC and and Tuesday.
🥗 Eat a balanced diet. Foods rich in vitamins, antioxidants, healthy fats, and lean proteins can support healthy skin from the inside out.
😴 Get enough sleep. Your skin repairs itself while you sleep, making rest an important part of skincare.
🚭 Avoid smoking and limit excessive alcohol. Both can contribute to premature aging and other skin concerns.
🖐️ Don’t pick at your skin. Picking pimples or scabs can increase the risk of scarring and infection.
🧽 Keep things clean. Regularly wash makeup brushes, pillowcases, towels, and anything else that frequently touches your face.
🔍 Know your skin. Pay attention to changes such as new or changing moles, sores that don’t heal, or persistent rashes, and seek medical advice if something seems unusual. Seek an esthetician for clarification.. Rochelle Aesthetics, LLC Kara Adomeit Skin Oasis Wild & Free Holistic Spa Carolyn Claytor just to name a few.
❤️ Choose products that fit your skin type. Whether your skin is oily, dry, combination, or sensitive, using products designed for your needs can make a big difference.
Remember, skincare isn’t just about appearance—it’s about maintaining the health of your body’s largest organ. A consistent routine and healthy lifestyle habits can help keep your skin looking and feeling its best.

Listen, the bills won’t pay themselves 🤷🏽♀️🫤
Not gonna lie… she’d be proud of me ♥️
I love that I’ve become something my parents can be proud of.
I don’t take that lightly.
Let’s stop treating mature skin like something to “fix.”
It needs support, not struggle.
If your routine isn’t doing that… we need to talk.

They say “tell your story” like it’s easy…
But building something from the ground up, staying consistent when nobody’s watching, and turning passion into purpose? That part doesn’t get talked about enough.
I’m honored to be featured by Voyage ATL, sharing a glimpse into my journey with Rochelle Aesthetics…from makeup artist to esthetician, educator, and now building a space that’s bigger than just services… it’s impact, it’s growth, it’s legacy.
This feature isn’t just about me.
It’s about every client who trusted me with their skin.
It’s about my incredible team.
It’s about every student who trusted me with their education.
And every moment I chose to keep going, even when it would’ve been easier not to.
If you’ve ever supported, booked, referred, shared, or even just spoke my name in a room I wasn’t in… thank you. Truly.
Take a read when you have a moment I promise it’s real, honest, and a little piece of my heart is in it. Link in bio
If your breakouts keep “coming back” in the same exact spots… it’s not your products, it’s your hands.
Skin picking (yes, I’m calling you out with ❤️ ) is one of the fastest ways to turn a small breakout into:
• hyperpigmentation
• delayed healing
• actual scarring
• and a longer treatment plan than you signed up for
You’re not “helping it come to a head”… you’re spreading bacteria, increasing inflammation, and making me work harder to fix what didn’t have to be that deep 😶
And if it feels hard to stop or almost automatic, that’s real too, that’s called trichotillomania/skin picking behavior and it’s more common than people think. No shame… just awareness and better habits.
Try this instead:
• Hands off = hydrocolloid patches on active breakouts
• Keep nails short (your skin will thank you)
• Ice + calming serums when you feel the urge
• Stay consistent with your routine so you’re not chasing results
I promise… your glow looks better when you leave it alone.
If you’re tired of marks that won’t fade and breakouts that keep getting worse, come see us. We will get your skin right without the self-sabotage.

Everybody’s talking about skin cycling… meanwhile your skin is over there irritated, breaking out, and confused.
Just because it’s trending doesn’t mean it’s right for your skin.
If your face has been stinging, tight, or suddenly acting up… it’s not “purging.” It’s your barrier asking you to relax.
At Rochelle Aesthetics, we don’t guess, we assess.
Custom treatments. Real skin analysis. Actual results.
