With a heavy heart, I must
announce that Cheyenne gained her wings today,
December 2nd, 2020. She was a fighter and wanted
so dearly to keep on going. Originally, she was going
to be put to sleep yesterday but the vet decided that
surgery was possible. So that's what went on, and
she unfortunately did not wake up. I am so
appreciative of the time I got to spend with her and
I'm happy she was still able to live a long life. I am
thankful for Pleasantville Animal Hospital for all
they've done for Cheyenne and my other geckos. I've
been to other vet clinics but this one has been the
most compassionate, helpful and thoughtful to her.
Last but not least, thank you to all the Leo Lovers for
supporting Cheyenne and myself through this
difficult journey. Over 1k of you reached out in our
stories, comments and DMs. Thank you for
everything. RIP Cheyenne… July 2009-December
