To our loyal clients,
We are so grateful for your patience and understanding during the COVID-19 pandemic affecting us all. We are planning to reopen for business in a limited capacity starting Friday, May 1st. Please know that our top concerns are for the health and safety of our clients and employees. We are implementing many new safety and sanitation strategies for reopening our salon.

Safety Guidelines for reopening but not limited to the following:

• Temperature checks – employees and clients

• Limit people in the salon – please no guests or children at this time

• We ask that clients arrive for their appointments at the time of their appointments and no earlier

• We recommend clients wait outside the salon in their vehicles until your serviced provider is ready to serve you. We can call you once your service provider is ready to serve you

• Maintain social distancing at all times except when staff are servicing clients. Service providers will be working modified schedules and will be keeping a safe distance between stations. We will continue to maintain touchless greetings and goodbyes

• Each client will receive a clean robe/cape upon arrival

• Wearing masks – salon employees will be required to wear masks. We require clients to wear face masks to the extent possible when receiving services. Please wear a mask to your appointment and we ask that you wear one that secures behind the ears

• It is recommended that clients come to the salon with their hair clean (shampooed within 3 hours of the appointment time), dry and pulled away from your face, so that we can spray your hair wet, or cut dry

• We would like to limit shampoos to only removing color and treatments from the hair

• We will discontinue scalp, neck and shoulder massage at this time

• Clients receiving services from different service providers, (i.e. cut with one provider and color with another) will not be able to receive back to back service appointments, however if both service providers are working the same day, it may be possible to schedule a separate service for a different time slot. The client would have to leave the salon and return back to the salon for that additional service to assist with social distancing

• Clients receiving more than one service with the same service provider may schedule service appointments back to back as services providers will not be booking more than one appointment at a time

• We will be implementing new and improved sanitation protocols into every aspect of our operation

• We would like our salon to become a place of refuge where clients can relax and experience peacefulness and calmness; therefore, the service floor will be designated as a “Quiet Conversation Zone” with minimal conversing taking place

• We will not be offering beverages at this time

• We will not be offering magazines at this time

• Service Providers are pleased to point and direct clients to products that are specifically recommended for their hair types and styles to avoid touching products to minimize as much as possible cross contamination

• In order to minimize and reduce person-to-person contact, while scheduling your appointment over the phone, we are recommending that clients place their credit card information on file. Once your services are rendered, we will advise you of your total for services upon check out; any gift items or retail products selected will be added to your service total

• The use of Venmo is recommended for those clients wishing to leave gratuity to avoid the exchange of cash to minimize and limit as much as possible person-to-person contact. Should you not have Venmo, and if possible, we kindly ask that you please be prepared beforehand with cash or a check already made out to your service provider(s)

• Excused 24 hour cancellation policy will remain in effect at this time
We will be calling clients beginning Monday, April 27 to reschedule appointments for May 1st and into the future. Due to service provider schedule changes, your scheduled appointment most likely will not stand as it was previously scheduled. If your appointment was scheduled prior to May 1st then please call the salon to reschedule your appointment. If you left a voice message during our closure in regards to a missed appointment we will be returning calls to reschedule your appointment. We ask for your patience as we have limited phone staff that will be working diligently to accommodate the many changes that have occurred over the past weeks.

For the continuing safety of our clients and staff, if you have an underlying health condition we ask that you wait to return to the salon until May 14th per state guidelines. In addition, if you have been ill or around anyone exhibiting symptoms, i.e. cough, fever within the past 14 days; please wait 14 days to reschedule your appointment.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding and please know that we are doing our very best to accommodate your schedule and keep you and our staff safe and well during this most difficult of circumstances.

Bonjour,

We hope that you are all continuing to stay healthy and safe!

As we continue to follow the news, due to the mandated business closures advised by Governor Kemp and the current shelter in place until April 30th, the salon will be remaining closed until further notice. All appointments scheduled for the month of April have been canceled. All clients whose appointments have been affected by this closure, will be promptly contacted once we are reopened for business.

May you all continue to spend precious time with your families and we hope to see you very very soon!

Bernard Dugaud Salon | COVID-19 Salon Closure:

To our most valued Bernard Dugaud Salon Clients,

We are thinking of you and your families as we are all adjusting to the challenges related to the COVID-19 (coronavirus). For your safety and all the safety of our salon team, effective at midnight on March 24, 2020, the Bernard Dugaud Salon will be temporarily pausing operations and closing our doors until April 7, 2020.

We would like to remind you that the situation remains fluid, and we will notify you if further rescheduling will be required. Please keep checking back through Facebook and Instagram for further updates, or you may reach us at [email protected], and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
