Back home in Atlanta and lawddddd it feels so good. Gotta head to LA tomorrow tho for work for 4 days… but I’m proud to announce I will be the Key Makeup Artist for the 2024 Black Radiance Beauty Campaign!!! That means that when all their new products roll out into the stores in 2024, it will
Be my work everywhere on their marketing materials.

If you can recall, I was thee Key MUA for their 2019 and 2020 campaigns so it feels good to be back for my 5 year anniversary with them. You can check out my work that’s currently in stores and on shelves now. Last time I was with the crew was in 2019 before the world changed forever so I’m super excited to be back in the lab. We got alot of work to do. 💄.

Next up was her friend Ruthie who was a delight. She explained to me that she doesn’t wear makeup very often and wanted something very natural that still looked like her, no false lashes or bold colors. This is a teaching moment because often times, as MUAs we apply the same aesthetic on clients that we are either accustomed of doing regularly or what we apply on ourselves. But it’s imperative to understand different skin tones, skin types, facial features, skin textures, personal needs, restrictions, and the overall Final look. I credit my time working at Nordstrom’s in the first 3 years of my career for equipping me with the proper tools to apply makeup beautifully on ANYONE!!! Makeup doesn’t have to completely cover up features, but can be as simple aa just slight enhancements 😚.

Needless to say, these ladies both loved their makeup and I enjoyed them.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of glamming up a new client, the beautiful Mervat, as she prepared for her step daughter’s wedding. She looked STUNNING 😍(last slide with her son.)

And last, but certainly not least was the beautiful Brandy who I’m so glad I was able to squeeze in last minute. ’s 5th auntie in one day (they all tried to kidnap my baby because she welcomed all the ladies with sweet kisses and puppy snuggles 🥰.) Hope you had a great time last night, pleasure meeting you.

My next client was my gorgeous Bride Margaret who stopped by for her wedding trial run. You talk about an intense spiritual connect!!! I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation Margaret, you really are special. I hope bestie Kendra and hubby approved of this makeup look. We wanted to keep it natural but still glam for her boho chic wedding theme. She’s had issues in the past with lashes and lash glue (hence why I only use latex free glue on clients) but I think I nailed it with these, what y’all think? And aren’t her brows AMAZING 😍?!?! See ya August 6th!!!

Last beautiful lady of my Alabama girls, was Jennifer. All of them have amazing smiles and teeth and hair 😍.

Saturday was bussssaaayyyyy 😰🤩🥰!!!! I’m so thankful for God blessing me with an outpouring of clients. Yesterday I serviced all brand new clients 🙌🏾. I started the morning off with 3 beautiful ladies who came in town from Alabama for their Photoshoot. First up was the gorgeous Maggie who I fell in love with. Praying for you Queen, thank you for rounding the girls up and blessing me with y’all’s presence.

My beautiful 2017 Bride Alex stopped by this morning for some paint. Alex is one of my most favorite and memorable Brides ever and her and her hubby hold a special place in my heart. Praying for your family and God’s anointing on you all. I really appreciated our convo today and am here for you whenever. Can’t wait to hear all the good and positive updates.

Btw I think I have fully transitioned over to only using foundation. I love this stuff.
