In my last Reel I broke down two types of people every man over 40 needs to identify in his circle.

STL’s — Something To Lose.
NTL’s — Nothing To Lose.
•
NTL’s are Unpredictable.
Reckless. Counterproductive. They move without regard for consequence because they have nothing at stake. And when you are in their orbit — their chaos becomes your collateral damage.

STL’s Operate Differently.
They are calculated. Productive. Responsible. They have built something — a reputation, a family, a standard, a legacy — and they protect it with every decision they make. They think before they move. They choose their associations carefully. They understand that one wrong step costs them everything they have worked for.

That is the energy that belongs in your circle after 40.
•
Because here is what most men do not realize. You do not just absorb the habits of the people around you. You absorb their standards. Their risk tolerance. Their ceiling.

Surround yourself with STL’s and your ceiling rises. Your decisions sharpen. Your discipline deepens. Because the men around you are operating with the same intentionality — and anything less becomes unacceptable.

Cable side overhead pulldown.
I’ve been training for years — but I never stop experimenting. There’s always a new angle. A new stimulus. A new way to force your body to adapt.
Hit this movement and felt it immediately — rear delts and lats lighting up exactly the way they’re supposed to.
At 53, I’m still DISCOVERING.
