As usual, Garner Style telling it like it is! It's so hard when you purchase a garment online and it just doesn't have the fit you were looking for because there are no models with your body type.

We are done a disservice when we only allow one type of body to be seen. This is not an attack on the model, but a call for models of different weights, heights, body types, sizes, and ethnicities. The whole plus size movement was founded on inclusiveness and getting that much needed representation. I'm not a model but I am able to with these size 26 hips sell out clothes. They've said you guys only buy from size 12/14/16 models and that just isn't true. It's just that very few brands are wanting to take the risk, even though their customer keeps asking for diversity. Diversity so they at least get an idea of what the clothes will look like on a body similar to their own.

I've never watched NBC's The Biggest Loser consistently, but I have always been interested in how the constestants do after the show. It's just not feasible to keep up with the rigorous exercise schedule after you return to "real life".
