A bit of a reboot for Jase this time. He’s been sporting the mullet for a few years, but with the summer approaching, having all of that hair down the back of his neck was gonna be too hot. So, we went with a mid fade and a short crop on top — a nice short reset to start growing out to a 60’s inspired mod cut for fall.

Jase popped back in last week to have his ‘hawk freshened up. I little higher and tighter for this one. Jase is an artist who marches to the beat of his own drum, so this “mullet hawk” with the extra long back suits his personality really well. I f**kin’ love this cut (and the guy wearing it, if I’m being totally honest).

Ben Parker was in the shop with someone a few weeks ago and I told our manager, “Make sure he gets in my chair next time.” I couldn’t wait to get my hands in that glorious mop! Today, he came in and let me do my thing. He was willing to just let me do whatever I wanted to, but I knew that we needed to keep some length to let those curls shine through and I’m glad we did. Epic mullet on a stunning human.

I always love cutting — he’s got this super thick straight hair, so the high and tight Ivy League style I love doing looks great on him!

I always enjoy seeing this handorable guy! Luka’s working a mid skin fade with some length of top, styled loosely with a bit of pomade.

Like any career sometimes being a barber feels like “work,” but when these two handsome dudes come in, it’s nothing but fun and fades.
