Home made Laundry soap... Super easy and a fraction of the cost of Tide....and for those with allergies it's a great alternative....awesome!!
1/2 cup borax
1/2 cup washing soda
1/3 bar fels naptha soap
For sent you can use 30 drops essential oil
Ok first take the soap and cut it into pieces and stick in the microwave for 2 min.... Let cool. ( this is much easier than grating with cheese grater). Once cooled you can just crumble the soap. Get a pit put 3 cups water in the pot and turn on med heat do not boil it will over flow. Add the soap to the water and cook till all soap is melted. Once all soap is melted add your 1/2 cup borax and 1/2 cup washing soda and essential oil or purex crystals and stir till dissolved. Now get a big pot or bucket and put 3 gallons of water in the pucker and dump in the cooked mixture. Stir let sit 24 hours stir again and put in jugs. Every time you use you will have to shake just it will seperate but it works amazing and smells good!!!! The first time it was time consuming but after I got the hang of it I had it in pot last night in 15 min. The key is make sure you get the soap melted all the way when you put it in the water....
