Yesterday, our Empire Beauty School Augusta Pre-Salon students stepped outside the classroom and into the beauty industry for a day filled with inspiration, learning, and new possibilities.
Our first stop was Ulta Beauty, where our students received an inside look at the retail and salon experience. They learned about professional product knowledge, explored the many career opportunities available within the company, and had the chance to see how passion and professionalism come together to create an exceptional guest experience.
With a little extra time in our day, we made an impromptu visit to Great Clips—and we're so glad we did! The stylists welcomed our students with open arms, sharing honest conversations about life behind the chair, building a clientele, and what it truly means to have a career in this incredible industry.
These moments are what education is all about. It's one thing to learn the skills in the classroom, but it's another to see those skills come to life through professionals who are living their passion every day. Our students walked away inspired, encouraged, and even more excited about the future that lies ahead.

It has been incredible to watch so many of our students graduate and earn their Master Cosmetologist licenses within weeks of completing the program. That kind of success is a reflection of the strong foundation she helped build.
