Some of you know the story behind my drive to start a barber school—it came from my own personal experience and the impact certain people had on my journey.

Today was truly a full-circle moment. When we visited Miller Thyme Barber Studio, I saw the barber instructor who left a lasting impression on me years ago.

Mr. Hamilton (Mr. H), it was a special moment watching you demonstrate your craft to my students—especially after I had just taught them the same techniques last night that you taught me over 10 years ago.

Wow… what a moment! Moments like this remind me why I started this journey in the first place. ✂️

Kindred Barber students were out again this morning, showing up and showing out at another event 🙌🏽✂️

I absolutely love their dedication, consistency, and work ethic. This is what it looks like when you’re serious about BECOMING — becoming professionals, becoming leaders, becoming the best version of yourself in this craft.

They understand it’s bigger than a haircut… it’s discipline, service, and pride in the journey.
