We are proud to announce that Holistic Animal Studies is now an Approved Educational Provider through the International Association of Holistic Animal Practitioners (IAHAP)! 🎉🐾🐴

This partnership creates exciting opportunities for both current students and graduates looking to further their professional development and gain industry recognition.

✅ Graduates of our Equine and Canine Massage Certification Programs may now be eligible to sit for the IAHAP Board Examination and pursue professional credentialing.

✅ Students who have completed our specialty certification programs—including modalities such as Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Cold Laser Therapy, Kinesiology Taping, Animal Reiki, Nutrition, Acupressure, and more—may be eligible for specialty designations through IAHAP.

As our profession continues to grow, professional recognition, continuing education, and networking opportunities become increasingly valuable. We are excited to provide our students with additional pathways to showcase their education and expertise.

Dog Fact Sunday!

Today we are talking about the Throat Chakra!
This is the 5th Chakra tied into communication. Dog's communicate primarily through body language, and it's our job to understand them. While some bark, wayyy more than we'd like, the majority use body language to tell us what they want us to know. I personally look at tail movement for big cues, not every wag is a happy wag! Stiff wags usually mean they are uncomfortable with something, slow wags mean cautious, but interested, and fast wags usually mean happy. Dogs communicate with more than just their tail, their ears, eyes, mouths and noses can tell us a lot.
