A little throwback to where it all started - a tiny 115 sq ft salon suite, long days, big dreams, and so much passion behind every appointment. 🥹

Looking back at this footage back from over 6 months ago feels surreal. Since then, we’ve grown into a bigger studio space, welcomed so many new faces, brought Vitalia on full-time, and slowly started building the kind of team and experience we once only envisioned.

What means the most to us is that over 80% of our clients continue coming back and trusting us with their nails and pedicures year after year. And since moving, we’ve also had the pleasure of welcoming almost 17% new clients into our space - something we never take for granted.

Growth is exciting, but what we’re most proud of is that the heart behind our work hasn’t changed. We still show up every day with the same love for what we do, the same attention to detail, and the same gratitude for every single person who supports Moon Glow.

What you’re seeing in the beginning is, unfortunately, very common.
Instead of treating the issue, it often gets covered with thick acrylic — which can actually make things worse, especially on toenails.

The right approach isn’t to hide it.
It’s:
• detailed removal of lifted/dead tissue
• keeping the area clean
• consistent at-home care (like antibacterial oil)
• regular follow-ups to guide healthy nail growth

This video actually went viral when I first posted it back in 2024, and I saw a lot of comments saying “this is fungus, you shouldn’t touch it.”
But the truth is — you cannot diagnose fungus just by looking at a nail. Only lab testing can confirm that.

As a nail tech, my role isn’t to diagnose — it’s to safely and properly clean the nail and create the conditions for it to grow healthy again.
And that’s exactly what I did here, using advanced paramedical pedicure training.
