Maternity Leave Over February 7th

A special thanks for staying patient and allowing me time to bond with the new addition to my family. I feel overwhelmingly blessed to have amazing clients and the ability to be off for as long as I have.

Now back to business!

My books have reopened for February 7th, and I expect them to fill up quickly!
You'll notice on my site that you can join a waitlist if you don't see a time that works best for you. Simply choose your service and date, and you'll see at the bottom, a button to join the waitlist.

Shop hours will be changing until full time daycare is open. Right now I will be there some Mondays, and every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday!

Purple Dreams 💜
su came in with a little bit of her at home haircolor and some old faded pink and purple.

My whole goal was mostly to even put her underlying blonde and keep her hair healthy!

Finally got to pamper my girl after she has been down for a bit, and WOWEEE it was so worth it.

What color would you call this? I was thinking Red Velvet Browndie 😏

Today we did a reverse balayage to blend down some old highlights with a little Money piece action 💸

We also used color gels & they worked FANTASTIC for grey coverage.

I love doing Mindy’s Hair because she always lets me have a little bit of fun, and honestly her hair always keeps me on my toes. It’s a little harder to blow dry completely smooth, and it’s so dense!

Who else gets sad when their clients move away??

I’ve been cutting his hair for the last 3-4 years and he’s always let me do something fun.

With the help of the blue oil lightening system, lightening his hair to a level 10 (very blonde) was SO EASY! His base was a little salt & pepper but it’s always so incredibly hard to get it really blonde.

How would you like to change up your salt & pepper hair and do something fun? 🤙

The salon experience doesn’t always mean a ton of people in a small space.

Personally I feel most comfortable in a space that is a little more intimate and private. Growing up, I had the same stylist for a long time, and while she did work in a pretty big salon, she had her own room and I didn’t feel at like I was just another head of hair coming in to the salon because we got our one on one time.

What would you rather have? (No shame in either, I still think the big salon can be so fun to go to)

Golden blonde for this gold star.

She came in with some previous low-lights in her hair and wanted to brighten up her complexion with a little more blonde.

I used the .lumiere method of the Cynthia lows around the face and did a little bit of free-hand balayage to tie everything else through the back.

The best part is, I’m usually a very slow colorist but this technique helped me get my whole service down to 2 1/2 hours 👏🏻
