Thank you to KO STUDIO for beautifully capturing these memories and to new_life_village for opening your doors and making this event possible.

This stop was especially meaningful. Seeing so many veterans, so many incredible brands and businesses rally behind Sol, and our Puerto Rico-inspired theme come to life reminded me why we started this movement in the first place.

What makes this even more special is that Killeen started with just a few connections. To see so many people come together to move, breathe, dance, and stand with Sol was something I’ll never forget.

Thank you to every attendee, vendor, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter who showed up. Every ticket, every share, and every conversation helps bring us one step closer to Sol’s stem cell treatment.

If it wasn’t for Krissy, our Killeen stop might not have happened.

We’ve actually been online friends for about 16 years, dating back to our bodybuilding days. When I launched the Heart + Sol Tour, I knew she had moved closer to Austin, so I slid into her DMs and asked if she’d be interested in photographing one of our events.

She said yes, and that yes has meant so much.

Krissy has photographed 4 of our 6 tour stops and has been one of the biggest supporters of this mission since day one. When our Dallas plans shifted, she connected me with people in Killeen, which eventually led us to New Life Village and our upcoming stop there.

This month we’re honored to feature .w.gen , founder of El Studio Pilates + Rejuve Wellness in Austin, Texas.

Born in Mexico and raised in Houston, Gen’s journey into wellness has been shaped by movement, motherhood, education, and a deep commitment to helping people feel at home in their bodies.

With a background in exercise science and rehabilitation studies, her approach blends biomechanics, nervous system awareness, and Pilates to create experiences that are both educational and empowering.

What resonated with me most was Gen’s commitment to accessibility and belonging in wellness. Through adaptive Pilates experiences, community-centered events, and intentional studio design, she’s helping redefine who wellness spaces are for.

As a mother to a child with disabilities, seeing her create opportunities for more people to experience movement felt especially meaningful.
