Happy Birthday, Dad! I think of you often, miss you like crazy, and love you with all my heart! (This was the one and only haircut I gave my dad after becoming a barber.)

We are so excited to have both Bri and Christy Chavez back to work in The Good Life Barber Shop. Bri is back from an extended recovery period after surgery (she’s been with the shop for ten years). Christy is back after having moved away from Austin for six years. It is beyond great that they’re both here!

We truly thank our clients who made the trek out to The Barber Car and all of our new(er) clients we gained while being there. Unfortunately, we have decided to regroup and recoup and close The Barber Car permanently. Ryan and Debbie will be working full time in our location at 1717 W 6th Street, Building 2, Suite 130R, The Good Life Barber Shop. Mandy will be running The Good Life Beauties out of the Mystique Salon Suites at Belterra. Her contact information is the same. Onward to a great 2023!

Unfortunately, due to freezing road conditions, most of the our barbers will not make it in on January 31, 2023 (and if forecasts hold, February 1st also). You will receive a cancellation notice if your appointment is cancelled. We truly apologize for the inconvenience but value your safety and ours above all else.
