It's Bourbon Talez time π₯!!! Ohhhhh weeee!!! There has been SO MUCH Estrogen talk in these pelvic floor streets lately, that I thought I would answer a recent question I got from the community:
"How do I make local vaginal estrogen bedroom friendly??? I'm 29 and recently got prescribed local, low dose v9ginal (excuse the spelling) estrogen cream to address my recurrent UTIs and vulvar discomfort. How do I explain this to my husband? Is not exactly the s*xiest conversation."
Boom shakalaka! I love this question because it has a lot of layers in it....aging, the perception of what is s*xy, health knowledge, etc. If I had an hour, I would say so much more.... but at the core we just need to get comfortable with the fact that our bodies need what they need and society needs to make the concept of s*xy more than our ge****ls.... because if that was the case.... this queen wouldn't think twice about telling her boo thang about what her body needs.

Here's tonight's question: "My partner and I have not had s*x in months and we are on vacation with the kids. We are exhausted, but we really need to reconnect. Any tips on making it happen without forcing it?"
Life has a way of keeping it moving even when our s3x lives are not. The key is to not put too much pressure on yourself to "get it back". I know that sounds counter-intuitive; but the path is with getting back to those small moments with yourself and then with your partner.... especially amongst the frenzy of summer and life.

This conversation on the OFF THE CHARTS podcast, with the brilliant Dr. Amy Papermaster , about s3x and aging is one of my absolute favorites.
Why?? Because we start to touch the surface on what it means to have s*xual intelligence and what it looks like as we age. Whether that transition is from 20 to 30 or 50 to 60+.
Society hasn't quite learned how to see s3xytime as something that evolves and gets better with an open mind, time, and self-knowledge. Just society is slow to grow... doesn't you need to keep pace; surge forward my friend!

It's Bourbon Talez time π₯!!! Weeeee! Happy Monday, my friends! Here's tonight's juicy question:
"I've always had issues with or***ms during penetrative s3x. Can you give me just ONE technique to try for next time??"
YAAAASSSS!!ππΏββοΈππΏββοΈππΏββοΈππΏββοΈ A million times, yes. I love angling because literally anyone can do it (or already does do it!). Pro tip: It works even better if you can coordinate with the movements of your partner. And if you are solo, experiment with varying degrees of pelvic tilting... pay attention to what it does for sensation πβπΏ Ayyyyyeee!!!
Fun modifications for ALL BODIES:
- Use a pillow or a wedge
- You can be on your back, tummy, side, leaving over the kitchen counter π, etc.
Have y'all tried this? What do you think?

It's Friday night and I'm feeling alright, folks.
Broadening has been getting some attention this week and I wanted to give this s3xy technique it's flowers.
Now here's the thing. Many women and folks have naturally learned about this technique by simply learning their bodies. But I personally love it because it's great for people who experience pain and for those who don't! It's a great way to access pleasure as well as experiment with new sensations in your body.
What are your thoughts, party people?

Swagger Tip # 152: Trust what you know to be true.
Last week I spent some time with some AMAZING humans at the annual conference in Puerto Rico. I had the honor of giving one of the plenary talks, and I am not going to lie to youβ¦I was NERVOUS. But not in the way you might think. I am not new to doing these types of talks. My mom would even say {insert VERY THICK Nigerian accent}, "My darling. You do this all the time! What are you worried about?"
I walked into the ballroom and I couldn't really hear anything. I was so focused on what could go wrong. So I sat down. Took a breath. I started to smell the vanilla from someone's lotion. I heard the laughter of people sitting in the back row eating breakfast and catching up. I heard the chatter amongst the event staff setting up chairs. I started to take everything in. I became present. And through that presence, I found my ten toes and stood on those bi***es.
I was able to settle into the beautiful experience of being in a room filled with open hearts and brilliant minds and engage in a conversation about the biology of social context.
Sometimes in the bedroom this happens to the best of us. We forget who the f*ck we are. We can't stay present. We get fixated on what could go wrong. Anchor into what you know to be true. Your flyness. Your soul beauty. Your swagger. It will pull you back to where you need to be. So you can connect. So you can feel. So you can experience your pleasure.
Just a little UC logic. ππ€
Thank you to and the wonderful participants who made it such a lovely experience.

It's Bourbon Talez time π₯!! Here's tonight's question: "I'm a 27-year-old woman and I had a baby a few years ago, and I just found out I have a prolapse. What does that mean for my s*x life?"
I love this question because about 50% of women will experience prolapse within their lifetime. Sexytime does not need to stop because you have a prolapse. Nope! Depending on what it's going on with your body; it may require adjusting your routine and how you approach s3x; but honestly, I love a good s3xy edit!
What are some things you've heard about s3xytime and prolapse?

Here's tonight's question: "S3xytime feels good, but I still can't or**sm. Why is that?!
Listen... there are a million reasons why this happens to people. And what makes it even more stressful is we sometimes don't know where to start. Check my thoughts on this juicy issue!
What are your thoughts??

The gap isn't about bodies; it's about the cultural scripts that shape whose pleasure gets centered.
We talk about the or**sm gap all the time. "The Or**sm Gap! Grrrr! Boooo! Hissss! [I'm throwing quarters!]ππΏππΎππ½ππΌππ»π
But here's my real question: What has knowing about it actually done for your s*x life? Has it changed anything? Or does it just give us something to be frustrated about?
Because the gap tells us something true about the world we live in. But the person in front of you, like...right now, isn't a statistic. They're a human being with their own experience, their own desires, their own story.
What if we focused there instead? No script. Just presence and genuine curiosity about what the actual person in front of you wants and needs.
That's the s*xy magic.
I want to hear from you. Drop your thoughts below.
