☆♫♪ Motown is probably my fave genre, but I love Nas, The Roots, Common, Snoop, Panjabi MC, lots of Arabic music, lots of Pop, Robert Francis, George Strait (and Michael), Weezer, Miike Snow, Dolly Parton, Mozart, Lizzo, Metallica, and Bob Marley, 80s trash pop...you name it and I probably know it, or I'll like it.

This is my entry for ‘s You Create Joy Contest. This photo brings me so much joy for a couple of reasons. One, you can see the look on her face. This is exactly why I do what I do. It sounds so cliché, but I love being a bright light in people’s days and I really felt like I was one in hers that day. This was actually the first time I attempted a rainbow fringe, and I did not have meche, just foils and balayage film so it was very challenging. I have done peekaboos and color melts before, but not like this and not in the fringe. I am so proud of myself for trying new things (I new I had technique, but was still antsy until her hair was dry! 😅).
She trusted my ability, as did I, and we got amazing results.
When we stepped outside to take photos, the sun light hit her and she caught a glimpse of herself in the glass right before this was taken. Her pure joy rubbed off on me and we just kept giggling, I’ll never forget this moment.

This girl helps my skin glow err day and I always love doing her hair. This time, doing Cammie's hair was extra fun! After the undercut and haircut, I lightened her and gave her some blush pink over her blond. I think I am getting the itch to change my hair now. 🙄😄

Try it, you'll love it. 😁 It's funny how going out of your way to help someone, taking a trash can up from the curb, or maybe cleaning up trash on a walk around the neighborhood, can make you feel good. If you're worried about your reputation, and you want to seem like a selfish hard-ass, you can always tell people you're just doing it to make yourself look good. 😂😂
