There are two things I do consistently in my sessions, though they are really the same thing:
Grounding.
Creating a safe space to let go of your tension, stresses, worries, and to leave them there.
Giving you a chance to breathe deeply and crumble your concrete tissues with each compression bringing comfort and relief.
Bringing you back to your body after removing what no longer serves it with a pressure-pointed hold at the base of your skull to give those tired neck muscles a break.
My clients often report feeling lighter after getting off the table, like they were carrying extra weight before.
Tension doesn't just add up--It also wears you down.

Good news! Hand & Sole Massage is updating business hours for summer and adding Thursdays to the week.
Wednesdays have reduced hours. Fridays and Saturdays remain unchanged meaning your favorite days are still available for you.
These changes apply at Bliss Studio starting June 3rd.

Bringing another wellness tip your way on this Wednesday! ✨️ If you've been on my table, then I've definitely made suggestions to you as to what you can do in between sessions to help your issue as well as referring out to a yoga instructor.
What I find people are experiencing a lot of the time isn't just muscle pain, but myofascial-based muscle pain. And our fascia loves slow, controlled movement paired with our breath to elongate and unwind the webbing that is our connective tissue and allow for better ease of movement. It doesn't take long to facilitate change in the body--it just takes action.
I've been practicing yoga since about 2010 (aging myself here 😅), and my practice has gone through many phases from novice to adept and back. The beautiful thing about yoga is it is completely personal and there is no comparison to anyone but yourself each time you show up to the mat.
I've been meaning to show some of my yoga routines for a long time so here's a sequence I'm fond of that is for all levels. Of course if you struggle with anything on your own, it's best to receive in-class guidance for best results.

Last April, I had the privilege of being a featured practitioner with Rituali for The Modern Ritual: An Evening of Wellness event. Of course, I had to FEET-ture my signature modality Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage! 👣
It's always surprising to me how many people have never experienced barefoot massage! Some of my favorite comments after experiencing it for the first time were:
"Wow, I feel like I'm standing straighter and can breathe better!"
"I don't typically like massage, but I'm very intrigued by this. This is great!"
"Wow, this style just makes sense! It feels so much better!"
