Ann Taylor 90s retro or Y2K Pale 1950s pink, Rayon makes it drape wonderfully.
Every seam and hem is meticulously finished.
I read that the dark Blue Ann Taylor label indicates high end stores. this sweater is luxurious and high end feeling.
Here is the quote from the “Vintage Fashion Guild” a great online source for sellers and collectors.
“Label note from former Ann Taylor employee, Julie Kinzey: “When I worked there in the late 1990s there were blue labels as well and they indicated a higher standard of quality, usually better construction and materials. You’d find this level of quality at “blue label stores” like on 5th Avenue in NYC, and the majority of all other regular stores were the white labels. The 3rd tier was the LOFT or outlet stores.”

Picture 4 shows the best example of the color. #9 and #10 show tiny spots on the sleeves. They are on the bottom of the sleeve so hardly noticeable.

I hand washed it, I did not ring it I just dipped it in unscented soap, rinsed it and laid it out flat.
