Succulent Skincare by Katie Keeler has been nominated in the Austin American Statesman’s Best of ATX under Beauty and Wellness in their Facial category. I have never been an awarded something for my business before so this makes me feel very special. It is still in the nomination phase. I would absolutely love it if you could go take a moment of your day to nominate me. You can nominate up to once a day through April 26, and then the top five go into the voting phase. I am up next to a bunch of really big spas who have tons of people working for them who can promote this… I know the chances are slim. But that’s OK. Hello beautiful clients!
It has been a while, since 2022, since I have increased my prices. It has come time for me to do so.
I believe that my value has increased since then and I know that products and services from my vendors have increased. This job can be hard on my body, takes a lot of energy for me to do. Some days I work 8 to 10 hours. Imagine massaging someone for that long! It’s a good thing I love it. In order for me to stay in business and not burn out I need to make sure that I charge my worth. Don’t worry though, I am still going to be one of the best priced in town. I believe everyone should be able to get a facial.

I understand if this means some of you won’t be able to tip as much. Tipping is welcomed and very much appreciated, but is not a requirement.

Though I will still be one of the better priced places in Austin, there are some other ways you can save.

🌵 Refer three people and get 30% off of your next service
🌵 I will be running a sale on my facials at their original prices Sunday March 1st (All sales after our increase in April will be based on the new prices)

New prices start in April so anything you book in April will have the new pricing when you check out unless you have taken part of our March 1 sale . If you pre-book you will automatically get your 10%.

Below is the facial special I will have on March 1st. You are welcome to reach out about buccal packages but I since the pricing on those aren’t changing I will have them as part of our July 4th Sale.

Our Fourth of July SALE is here! Get ready to bundle and save on services and skincare!

No matter how wild the world is getting something that is so important is regulating our nervous systems. If everyone did that this world would be beautiful. An unregulated nervous system shows up in your health, whether that be your gut, your mind, or your skin. It may sound silly that skincare, facials, and sculptural lifting and buccal massage would make a difference, but you would be amazed what the power human touch can do. We hold so much tension, tightness and trauma from years of our life, from today’s stresses and messes. Your body keeps the score. It shows up as pain, tense muscles, and even premature aging . Succulent Skincare is a safe space where you can relax and let go.

I also find taking a little extra time out of my day to apply my skincare helps me relax. Spending that extra moment just with yourself, light a candle, play some music or maybe just sit in silence with the lights down low . Sometimes it’s truly what gets me through every week with my struggles in life.

Having a regular routine or appointment to look forward to is always nice too! I hope to hear from you. Stay safe!

Thank you for supporting me and all of my dreams. Being there to catch me and help me up when I fall. Being a good listener, my voice when I struggled as a child and teenager. Your love, your patience and your kindness towards others and animals shines brightly. I hope I can be as amazing as you someday. I am lucky to have you as my mom. They like me? They really like me!

It used to be you could book pretty last minute with me. Due to a recent uptick in new clients booking, I am now needing EVERYONE to book ahead of time. I am completely booked through April and am already booking up in May (especially for those who like Saturdays.I think I only have 2 Saturdays with availability in May left)

This is very overwhelming, but it is a blessing and an honor. I absolutely want to get my regulars in, and I am sending this email to encourage everybody try to book at least 1 to 2 of your services ahead of time that way you have your appointments set. I do have to respect first come first serve.

This might just be a lucky time of the year, though usually this time of year is slower for me. Or this might be a time of growth and maybe next year I will be hiring someone to help me. Who knows. All I know I am absolutely thankful for every single one of you! Some of you have been with me for 14 years of the 18 I’ve been an esthetician!

I am also working on adding a couple new services to the menu and editing my website in a few weeks. If you book an appointment for a facial that I don’t offer any more by the time of your next appointment I will still honor that price and service. I am just going to try to simplify my menu. So some of the facials on it right now will be taken off due to not being as popular. I have a vision. Just have to make small steps.
