Herbal Therapy and Integrative Medicine from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in 2012. I have also been a licensed massage therapist since 2007. I have been successful in treating conditions such as headaches, back pain, shoulder pain, digestive disorders, hypertension, TMJ, depression, skin conditions, tremors, and many many other conditions with acupuncture and Chinese herbs for five years. Other health-related certifications I've earned include Holistic Health Care practitioner from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York City, where I learned about many diets and which to best utilize according to an individual’s needs. I am also certified in macrobiotic cooking and counseling from the Natural Epicurean School of Macrobiotics. I believe by changing one’s diet to suit an individual’s constitution and needs, many physical, emotional and mental dis-eases can be healed. And acupuncture and Chinese herbs can often bring the body into balance and wholeness when food alone can’t. Understanding the strengths of Western Medicine, I also incorporate these ideas into my practice when they are needed.
