Spring is a great time to revisit your skincare routine.
Even in Texas, where seasonal changes are not always dramatic, spring still means stronger sun exposure and rising temperatures. These shifts can affect how your skin behaves and how it tolerates certain ingredients.
A few things I often recommend adjusting this time of year:
Textures of your products.
As the weather gets warmer, many people find that lighter creams and serums feel more comfortable on the skin.
Active ingredients.
If your winter routine included a lot of acids or retinoids, spring can be a good time to slightly reduce the frequency and observe how your skin responds.
Hydration and barrier support.
When using active ingredients, it’s important that your routine also includes enough hydration and barrier-supporting products to keep the skin balanced.
Sun protection.
With stronger sun exposure, daily SPF becomes even more essential — and don’t forget to reapply when needed.
Often your routine doesn’t need a complete overhaul. Small, thoughtful adjustments can make a big difference.
If you’re unsure how to adapt your skincare routine for the season and your skin type, it’s always best to do it with professional guidance.

Sun is getting stronger here in Texas, which means it’s time for a little SPF reminder.
Daily sunscreen is one of the most important steps in any skincare routine. It helps prevent premature aging, hyperpigmentation, inflammation, and protects the results of professional treatments like peels, enzymes, and acne programs.
Many people only think about sunscreen at the beach — but UV exposure happens every single day. Even on cloudy days, up to 80% of UV rays can still reach your skin.
If you’re working on acne, post-acne marks, rosacea, or pigmentation, sunscreen becomes absolutely essential.
In the carousel I’m sharing a few sunscreens I regularly recommend to my clients — each one with a different texture, finish, and benefits depending on your skin type.

A week full of skin transformations ✨
This week in the treatment room looked like a true skin journey —
from deep-working enzyme therapies and chemical peels to Hydra Diamond Facials, non-invasive mesotherapy, peptide treatments, and precision dermaplaning.
Every facial was chosen intentionally.
Different skin concerns, different goals — one approach: results without compromising the skin barrier.
Some treatments focused on detox and lymphatic flow.
Others targeted pigmentation, texture, breakouts, dehydration, or early signs of aging.
No trends — just science, skin logic, and customized care.
If your skin feels “stuck,” dull, reactive, congested, or simply not responding the way it used to — this is your sign.
There is always a next step when it’s done correctly.

DMK Enzyme Therapy is a corrective treatment designed to stimulate the skin from within.
During 45 minutes of enzyme mask activation, circulation, oxygenation, and lymphatic flow are increased.
This process supports cellular metabolism, improves nutrient delivery, and assists in the removal of metabolic waste.
The resulting plasmatic effect helps strengthen skin structure, improve tone and clarity, and support long-term skin health 💚
An optional intensive abdominal therapy may be added during the enzyme mask activation, allowing for a full-body approach while the skin is actively working.
This is not a surface-level facial, but a results-driven protocol focused on skin revision and functional balance.

Contraindications for face massage.
Face massage work deeply with the lymphatic and circulatory systems, so certain conditions require postponing the treatment.
Avoid the treatment if you have:
- Any active illness (cold, flu, fever, infection).
- Active inflammation: cold sores, breakouts, open wounds, dermatitis.
- Heavy congestion (multiple closed comedones) — massage may overstimulate the sebaceous gland and trigger inflammation.
- Highly reactive or sensitized skin, or a compromised skin barrier.
- Use of strong actives within the last 3–5 days: retinol/retinoids, acids, exfoliants, benzoyl peroxide, or dermatologist-prescribed topicals.
✨ These guidelines ensure your skin receives the full benefits of the massage without unnecessary irritation or inflammation.
If you’re unsure whether your skin is ready, feel free to message me — I’m always here to guide you and help you choose the safest, most effective treatment.

DMK Enzyme Therapy is not a regular facial — it’s a skin revision treatment designed to restore your skin’s natural functions.
