We apologize to our clients that encountered any porblems with our online booking. We would like to share an email from the CEO of booker.com with their explination.

Dear Atxpolish,

I’d like to apologize for any recent systems issues you may have experienced with Booker. While some of these have been the result of of third party failures, we understand that the end result is the same: you are unable to run your business efficiently on Booker. Regardless of the root cause, we take full responsibility for Booker’s system reliability.


The third party issues of the past week involved some of our payment processing partners. In each case, our partners have communicated to us corrective actions for immediate effect as well as their plans to mitigate future issues. We will continue to follow up with them to ensure that what they have committed to doing is completed to our satisfaction.


The systems issues of today stem from a database issue, the exact cause of which is still under investigation. We are working with both Booker’s and our hosting partner’s Database Administrators around the clock to determine exactly what occurred so that it can be corrected. Our Systems Operations team will be doing further testing and troubleshooting tonight starting at 12:30 AM EDT to determine root cause.


As part of our longer term goal of improving Booker, we have a major database upgrade scheduled for the first week of August. This planned database upgrade will put Booker on the most recent version of Microsoft SQL Server. Pending the findings of this most recent systems issue, we will also identify additional corrective actions we will take between now and our major upgrade. We will keep you informed of the root cause, what corrective actions we plan to make, and what issues those actions will address.
