February holds the special day of Valentine’s Day.

It’s the month where we begin to see the world painted in pinks and reds, filled with chocolates, cupids, cards, roses, hearts, and xoxo’s.

But Valentine’s Day is richer than a Hallmark card and a box of chocolate. Its origins are deeply rooted in love.

Yes, LOVE!
… What is love? 🤔

It is the oldest ache in the human chest.

It is what poets have tried to translate for centuries.
It is what artists and singers have devoted their lives to capturing.
It is what humanity has been reaching for across lifetimes, cultures, religions, and across the entire world.

We have been searching for love since the beginning of time.

Love is not a feeling.
It is not an emotion.
It is not romance, or passion.

Love is a force.

In fact, it is the strongest force in all of existence.

Love heals all wounds.
Love ends all wars.
Love dissolves all hatred.
Love conquers all evil.

The memory bank did not disappoint.
Got some heavy hitters that never made it to the public.

Not bad for a first session of grey blending 👩🏻‍🦳

We’ve been battling her grays with permanent color for years and she finally decided to lean into her natural color. 🙌🏽

She grew her hair out for a whole year before we started blending her grays with the rest of her head.

Clarified her hair with CPR to get rid of as much pigment as we could before I began highlighting.

Then I babylighted her entire head meticulously picking up only her grey hairs. (This took 3 whole hours 😮‍💨)

Lowlighted with 5-12/6-16 & toned with 8-0/8-11/7-24
