Keep your hair looking healthy and vibrant all summer long with these essential tips for swimming season!

☀️ Soak your hair well before going for a swim - wet hair will soak up less chlorine (or sea salt) than dry hair
☀️ If you are outside, use a hair product with SPF or wear a hat 👒
☀️ Coat your hair with coconut oil or conditioner prior to getting in the water, this will seal the cuticle and help create a barrier between your strands and the chlorine
☀️ Put your hair in a braid or bun - this will help your hair from getting matted or tangled
☀️ After swimming, rinse your hair with fresh water & apply a leave in conditioner
☀️ Use a clarifying shampoo a few times a week to remove chlorine or salt buildup; Condition as normal (deep condition if you feel it’s necessary)
