I just want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has donated school supplies or contributed money to purchase school supplies. Your generosity is truly appreciated.
It's been incredible to see our community come together to help local kids start the school year prepared and confident. Every notebook, backpack, pack of pencils, and every dollar donated helps make a real difference.

Every year, this is one of my favorite days behind the chair.

On Monday, August 3, from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM, we'll once again be offering FREE back-to-school haircuts for families who need a little extra help getting ready for the school year.

Last year, because of the generosity of this community, we were able to provide over 80 free haircuts and help send kids back to school with backpacks and school supplies. Watching those kids leave with fresh cuts, big smiles, and a little more confidence is something I'll never forget.

This year, I'm asking for your help.

We're collecting donations of backpacks, notebooks, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, folders, and any other school supplies that can help a child start the school year ready to succeed.

If you'd like to donate, you can drop supplies off at Kingdom Kutz anytime before the event or send me a message.

If donating isn't possible, sharing this post would mean the world to us. Every share helps us reach someone who may be able to lend a hand.

Spoiler free review of Super Girl. I honestly wasn't really excited about this one and generally disinterested in the character. With that said I really enjoyed the movie! The most common complaint is that it is simply lack luster, and I can agree it's not your epic universe saving situation, but you get the super girl origin story as she takes an intergalactic crime syndicate.
