Japan was absolutely everything you think it is. 100/10 recommend!!

Stop doing your skincare routine on planes!!!
Planes are disgusting and its an unsanitary environment. Everything on a plane has bacteria on it...Everything! That water you're using in the bathroom is considered potentially contaminated and I would NEVER use it to wash my face.
If are going to use anything on a plane have it be a Hypochlorous spray and that is it.
Planes dehydrate your skin and are drier than the desert. Putting all your products on not only a dirty face, but a dry face defeats the purpose. That moisturizer or hyaluronic acid will likely just draw more moisture from your skin. Piling on heavy creams in a dry environment can often clog your pores too. That plane air is recycled stuffy air, yuck.
Instead of the "cute" trend just make sure to do your routine before flying and after you land. If you are doing a long haul flight, skip the makeup and apply a light layer of an occlusive like Aquaphor or Vaseline after your moisturizer then make sure to wash after landing.
Never skip your SPF while flying. You are flying above 30 thousand feet and the UV radiation is higher at those altitudes.
