To my dear clients,

Many of you have heard from me by now, but if you have not, my online booking is back up and I am accepting appointments! At this time, I will not be accepting new clients. I extended my hours and added some extra days to accommodate all of you.

I highly encourage you to go online and book your appointments for the remainder of this year. This will help to limit our face to face time in the salon.

I thank you all so much for your patience, generosity and kind words throughout these last couple months. You all mean so much to me!

I will post my safety procedures here for anyone who has not seen them yet. I know it won’t be the usual experience, but please know it is for the safety of the both of us. I cannot wait to see all of you soon!

• When you arrive, please text me and wait in your car and I will let you know when I am finished disinfecting.

• I ask that you take your temperature and send me a photo of the thermometer before you leave for your appointment, or I will take your temperature at the door with a contactless thermometer.

• Everyone who enters must wear a face mask. The kind that goes around the ears are best for hair services. If you can’t find one like that, I have a limited supply.

• Once we enter my studio, we will both wash our hands.

•Please come to your appointment alone. We are not allowing anyone to sit in our waiting area or our processing area at this time, unless a chemical service requires heat/dryer.

•We ask that you only bring essential items....keys, phone, payment method-No bags or outside food and drinks.

•At this time, I will not be blow drying to finish/style unless it’s necessary for a smoothing treatment or a special occasion styling appointment.

A message to all my lovely clients:

After much back and forth debate, I decided that yesterday was my last day at the salon to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. This is a very trying time for everyone, and to keep the community as a whole safe, it is best we all keep our distances.

I will miss you all so much, but it’s only temporary. Know that I will be counting the days until I am behind the chair again!
•
I will be selling gift cards that can be used on future services and products! As a service provider, I do not make anything if I am not working. Don’t forget, I don’t only do hair! I offer makeup applications, makeup lessons and waxing.

In the mean time... Me, Brett and the pups will be soaking up all our free time in our beautiful new home, making it even more homey. We have lots of walls to paint, flower beds to prep, and pictures to hang. ❤️

When you’re bummed out that chemotherapy didn’t cause your hair to fall out, giving you an excuse to shave your head. Or just when your mom is a bad ass. She dreamed up all kinds of styles to try if her hair fell out. However, she was one of the lucky ones who got to keep her pretty curls. That didn’t stop her from deciding to shave some off anyway! Last week was her LAST immunotherapy treatment!!! She beat the odds, just like I knew she would. I’ll never be able to put into words what my mom means to me. And especially what she has taught me during her battle with lung cancer. There were absolutely some very trying times, but at the end of the day, she was never going to give up. And I can only hope to be as brave as she is one day. ♥️♥️♥️ **kcancer @ SALONsalon
