I absolutely loved spending the weekend with 🤍 For her rehearsal dinner, we created a fresh, glowy look with soft pinky-peach tones on the eyes and the most natural, radiant skin. Effortless, elevated, and still completely her.

happy met monday! tonight i will be stalking all of the celebrity makeup artist glam on the carpet. & of course, manifesting a met makeup client down the road.
i loved creating the makeup for this beauty shoot. lately, i’ve been loving a bright, matte inner corner highlight. shadow always delivers!

neutral, refined makeup will always have my heart…it’s timeless and beautiful on everyone. BUT as much as I love soft, understated beauty, my love for color runs just as deep.
a lot of my inspiration comes from nature. my camera roll is full of the forest behind my house, the ocean, my garden, and close-up textures that most people would walk right past.
i once stopped mid-walk with a neighbor to take a photo of tree bark, and she looked at me like I was crazy — but that photo later became the inspiration for a makeup look. moments like that remind me how much inspiration is right in front of our faces. we just have to open our eyes.
there is so much beauty in the everyday, and I love turning that into something wearable.

A sheer, blurred base will always be my favorite. I love preserving the details that make you uniquely you- freckles, beauty marks, a natural flush.
During our consultation, I take note of those features while we talk through your makeup goals. Once we’ve decided on your look, I always ask your comfort level with letting them show through. It’s part of a collaborative process that ensures you still feel like yourself, just the most refined version.

a moment for the glam✨
the look needed to be romantic and effortless. no baking or heavy powdering to keep emily’s skin fresh. i wanted the makeup and hair to look lived in, like she went to bed in last night’s makeup. this shoot was insane- more to come!

A romantic makeup for a floral, spring shoot with & 🌸🌷🌺

For this look, I wanted a sheer, dewy base paired with a rosy blush that wraps softly around the eye for a seamless blend. The cheeks are fresh and luminous, so we kept the eyeshadow matte to create contrast and let the glow of the skin stand out.
That matte finish also allowed the stones to be the star of the show. Keeping them in the same color story maintains a soft, seamless blend while still delivering impact.
A look that I *hope* Miranda Priestly would approve of.

What a client shows you and what they actually want can be two very different things. My job isn’t just to recreate a photo. It’s to break it down, ask the right questions, and translate it into something that works for them.
