People misunderstand makeup.

Some people think it’s about hiding yourself, masking your flaws, or becoming prettier for someone else. But for many of us, that’s never been the point.

Makeup is expression. It’s color theory, emotion, storytelling, and creativity painted onto a human face. Some days it’s soft and natural. Other days it’s bold, graphic, or completely surreal. Neither is more “real” than the other.

I don’t wear makeup because I’m ashamed of my face. I wear it for the same reason an artist reaches for a canvas…to create. My face just happens to be the medium.✨🎨
