💕 10 WEEKS POST-OP: THE UPS & DOWNS! 🍑✨

Let’s talk about it because this surgery journey has NOT been all sunshine, snatched waists, and pretty pictures! 😩😂

The UPS: 💕
✨ Watching my body transform week by week
✨ Seeing my waist come in and my curves take shape
✨ Feeling more confident in my clothes
✨ Seeing the swelling slowly go down
✨ Knowing I made it through the hardest part!

The DOWNS: 😩
🥴 The swelling that comes and goes whenever it feels like it
🥴 The stiffness, soreness, and random discomfort
🥴 Some days looking SNATCHED and other days wondering where my results went!
🥴 The compression garments, massages, and never-ending maintenance
🥴 Learning that healing is NOT linear!

One thing this journey has taught me is PATIENCE! And baby, patience is NOT my strongest quality! 😂

Being a post-op specialist myself, I thought I was prepared for everything. But let me tell you, it’s a whole different experience when YOU’RE the one on the table!

At 10 weeks, I’m still healing, still changing, and still learning my new body. Some days I love everything I see, and other days I have to remind myself that 10 weeks is NOT the final result!

I’m sharing the good, the bad, and the uncomfortable because surgery is more than just the before-and-after pictures!

🍑 The Body Shake Back Queen had to experience her OWN shake back! 💕

SWELLING or FIBROSIS? 👀 They are NOT the same thing!

After surgery, swelling is expected—but when areas begin feeling hard, lumpy, thick or uneven, it may be time to pay closer attention to what your body is telling you.

The goal of post-op care isn’t just to “get a massage.” It’s understanding where you are in your healing process and choosing care that supports your recovery. 💎

And remember: the farther out you are from surgery does NOT automatically mean it’s too late to work on your results.
