Cleaning and caring for press-on nails:
Cleaning and caring for press-on nails is important for maintaining their appearance and ensuring they last as long as possible. Here's a step-by-step guide you can share with your new client:

Cleaning Press-On Nails:
Gently Remove Residue: Before applying the press-on nails, clean your natural nails by gently removing any residue or old nail polish using a non-acetone nail polish remover. This ensures a clean surface for better adhesion.

Wash and Dry Hands:
Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water to remove any oils or dirt that could interfere with the nail adhesive. Dry your hands completely before applying the press-on nails.

Applying Press-On Nails:
Select the Right Size: Choose press-on nails that fit each of your natural nails well. If needed, file the edges of the press-on nails for a perfect fit.

Apply Nail Glue or Adhesive Tabs:
Depending on the type of press-on nails you're using, apply a small amount of nail glue to the back of the press-on nail or use adhesive tabs. Apply the glue or tab evenly and avoid using too much, as excess glue can seep out and cause a messy application.

Press and Hold:
Carefully place the press-on nail onto your natural nail and press down firmly for several seconds to ensure it adheres well. Hold each nail in place until the glue sets.

Caring for Press-On Nails:
Avoid Excessive Water Exposure: While press-on nails are generally water-resistant, prolonged exposure to water (like soaking in hot water or swimming) can weaken the adhesive. Use gloves when doing dishes or activities involving water to prolong the wear.

Be Gentle:
Avoid using your nails as tools to open cans or scrape surfaces, as this can cause the press-on nails to lift or break.

Remove Carefully:
When you're ready to remove the press-on nails, soak them in warm, soapy water for a few minutes to loosen the adhesive. Gently lift the edges using a cuticle pusher or wooden stick, taking care not to damage your natural nails.

Moisturize:
After removing the press-on nails, moisturize your natural nails and cuticles to keep them healthy and hydrated.

By following these steps, your press-on nails should look great and last longer. If you have any concerns or questions, don't hesitate to reach out for assistance.
