We all have a Haman that we have dealt with that has tried to silence us and work against us from being used in the way God wants to use us. Her Time To Speak is based upon Esther 4:14 and the darkest times we've been through as well as how we've overcome those things. It is also an extension of the poetry book "Her Time To Speak"
I began the showcase last year with myself and am carrying it on with other voices that need to be heard in efforts of assisting with recovering God's children and glorifying Christ in how he has redeemed us in our darkest moments.
If you are a woman and a spoken word artist, we invite you to submit your video of your spoken word piece to be featured on our page. Please make sure to follow the guidelines for submitting your video in the post before this one.

Good evening. I hope all is well.This page had another name at one point but has recently been changed to Her Time To Speak. It is a spoken word page now. I will share more soon but here's the first thing I want to start with.
I am looking for women who are spoken word artists who would like to recite their poetry pieces in a virtual showcase setting and have their voices heard. There is an option to recite your poetry or just simply read it from a document if you have trouble memorizing or reciting.
Your poetry piece should be one highlighting your experience of whatever topic you choose as well as how you overcame it. The goal is to highlight how God has redeemed you and brought you through these situations.
Topics Allowed:
1.Depression
2.Domestic Violence
3.Narcissistic Abuse
4.Grief and Loss
5.Suicidal Ideation/ Su***de
6.Abuse of any kind
7.Rejection
8.Mother-Daughter strained relationships
9.Father- Daughter strained relationships
10.Church Hurt
11.Divorce
12.Certain lifestyles that you overcame
13.Drug Addiction or addiction of any kind
14.Sickness
15.Homelessness
*Please no profanity in the poetry pieces and keep it PG but express yourself in your most authentic way. If it is content that is vulgar it won't be accepted so please keep it clean. This page and movement is centered in Christ.
