Any braiders want to donate some time on tomorrow? I have lots of hair available. Please let me know if you can join. This is not a kids only event! It is open to anyone in need of haircuts care and CAN NOT AFFORD it. What ever the reason is, no questions asked! I tried to teach my sons to cut hair when they were younger, but they had no interest. Then when they became adults they would video call me to give instructions by phone. Needless to say, Tyler Derozen my oldest has been learning and doing a pretty good job. I've been thinking since he's been home about asking him and Cory Honore if they feel up to taking" Hood Initiatives" back on the road again! I'm really putting them on the spot right now 🤣.. it takes man power and a heart of gold to want to donate any type of service free of charge to another individual. The commitment, the time and energy, loading and unloading, hours in the sun, just to be of service to another human in need of a little kindness. Y'all help me talk them into it! Would ya'll like to see us back out in the communities again? I need a little boost of excitement! Say the word and I'm going to pack these tents, crockpots, clippers and chairs up before it gets to cold! - I don't have to get ready, I stay ready 😎

Our next free haircut event will be on Sunday May 25th from 11am to 5pm! Call to schedule your appointment. There is only 15 spaces available, please allow the reservations for persons in serious need of haircuts! Lower income individuals/families, unemployed, homeless, or just down on your luck! My first client yesterday. He was not warming up to me. His parents are going to bring him back. After 4 maybe 5 times, he'll be laughing and enjoying his haircut. Patience with the little one's until they recognize who you are! ❤️
