Ya’ll… Are fireworks cool? Yes! Are they allowed within the City of Wharton? No!

There are a ton of things you could spend your hard earned money on instead of paying a ticket for fireworks like:
- 4 gallons of gas
- 2 dinners at Fogo de Chao
- a few expensive pairs of jeans
- a new purse
- child support
- paying that warrant you know you still have hanging over your head
- a new pair of sunglasses
- snow cones for you and 30 friends (or just a bunch for you)
- a new tire (yes, you!)
- a gym membership for 3-4 months
- a new fishing pole
- that mini car vacuum you saw on Facebook (the one that claims to be way better than the others)
- anything you saw on Facebook
- those items you moved over to “save for later” on Amazon
- etc.

Anything is better that literally blowing money on the citation we’ll write if we’re called or observe you popping fireworks within our city limits.
