We have missed you and hope you are all well! We will be re-opening on Monday, May 18th and have been busy rearranging the salon and stylists' schedules so that we can maintain social distancing as best as possible.

We have some changes in the way we will be operating until the virus has passed and things go back to normal.

• We will be checking everyone's temperature using the touchless infrared thermometer prior to entering the salon. Any employee or client who has a temperature above 99F will be sent home immediately.

• If you have a cough, fever, have been around anyone exhibiting virus symptoms, or live with anyone quarantined within the past 14 days-please do not come in or make an appointment.

• The waiting room is closed. Clients are to remain in their vehicles until the stylist is ready for them. We are sorry for any inconvenience but ONLY clients will be allowed in the salon. Everyone else must remain in the car.

• All magazine will be removed because it is impossible to keep them all disinfected.

• Clients must wear masks at all times in the salon. Please provide your own mask as we are unable to do so at this time.

• Please plan on writing a check to keep credit card fees to a minimum. Credit cards will be accepted (no American Express or Discover, please) No cash or bills please.

• You will be asked to wash your hair at home if you are getting a haircut. We will only wash hair when removing a color process.

• Blow drying is not allowed (glad it’s not cold outside)

• No waxing, pedicures or manicures are allowed at this time.

• We will be working as hard as we can to accommodate each client as soon as possible. Because we need to sanitize our stations and tools after each client we have to change our timing, so please bear with us.

We care about each of you and are doing everything we can to give you as safe environment as we can and decrease the risk to you, to our staff and their families.

Please be patient as this is a big change for all of us. We are working hard to satisfy all of our clients.

Hi everyone!!

We will be reopening Monday, May 18 as per the Governor's announcement today.

We are working on setting up rules and regulations to decrease risk to our clients and staff and their families.

We know you would like to get in as soon as possible, but please have patience as we have many clients to get scheduled.

Keep watching for posts that will give new operating rules for the salon to best protect all of us. We will NOT be offering pedicures, manicures, waxing nor hair washing (except to remove color) or blow dries.

Stylists will be scheduling clients once we have everything in place.

Covid-19 update: the governor has now issued an order for all non-essential businesses to close until at least April 15th. When we know more about when we can open will post here.

Coronavirus cases in SC pass 1,000. Four additional deaths reported State health officials have projected that South Carolina will have more than 2,600 cases by Thursday.

Due to the Pandemic, we have made the hard decision to close the salon until approximately April 6th. We are taking the Governor's and the Mayor's request to social distance seriously. We will be contacting our clients to reschedule as soon as possible.

To the patrons of Hair Designs:
We are open and will remain open until the govenor tells us otherwise. We do ask if you are sick or not feeling well to please call and reschedule your appointment.
We are taking precautions for our clients' safety by following the guidelines established by the CDC and ask that you do the same.
Wash hands for 20 seconds
Cough into your elbow
Dispose of used tissues immediately
Stay home when you are sick

We care about the health of our clients and together we can continue to have a safe environment for everyone. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the salon. We are also disinfecting high traffic areas throughout the salon regularly.
