Outside the salon, I’m a proud military spouse and mom to three incredible kids. I’m a sucker for country music, and there’s nothing I love more than the energy of a great festival—it’s where my heart feels most alive!

As hairstylists, our work goes beyond creating beautiful hair—it’s about creating a safe space, a connection, and a moment to truly be there for someone. I’ve realized over the years that the chair isn’t just a place for color and cuts; it’s a place where stories are shared, burdens are lightened, and bonds are built.

Lately, I’ve heard so many clients share how much they miss the personal conversations with their stylist, or how disconnected they feel when passed between several people during an appointment. It makes me wonder if we, as an industry, have lost some of the one-on-one connection that makes this career so special.

To me, hairstyling is just as much about being present as it is about the artistry. We all have hard days, and knowing someone is there to listen can mean more than you’ll ever know. At the end of the day, connection is what makes us human—and I’m here for it, every single time you sit in my chair. 💛
