It is with overwhelming sadness that I announce the closing of Scissorhands Salon.

I have loved my job for almost 20 years. I love watching people grow and being a part of so many wonderful lives all while trying to make them feel good about themselves and their hair. I have received so much love over the years and my heart aches knowing it is ending this way. Please know that through all of my darkest times your children have been the brightest spot in my days and have always been what kept me going. They are all so special to me.

This decision has been the hardest for me to accept, I am still struggling with it. But the truth is that I am high risk as many of you know and therefore cannot risk exposure no matter how much i want too. My family, and Doctors (I have a few) have made it clear that I need to accept my compromised health and keep myself safe. Apparently I'm irreplaceable ;)

I am Phase 2.

Today it was announced that the Stay Home Order has been extended to the end of May. There will be some slow reopening of businesses but there is no definite date I can say I will be able to reopen. If you were so kind as to book an appointment with me during this time I truly appreciate you and your support and am sorry I will not be able to keep our appointment.

When we do get the go ahead to reopen there will be some changes. First of all Anna and I will no longer be working on the same days. This will allow for us to be able to follow safe distancing practices and less foot traffic.

I will be shutting down online booking for the time being. I will be sure to let everyone know when it is up and running again. I miss you all so much, thank you for being so supportive through the years.

Also, thank you for staying home and staying healthy!
