Heaven. Art. And a really big hat covering a sleepy head.

Crete is gorgeous. After a brutal bout with jet lag, a torrential rain storm, and finally some rest we are able to stretch out and adventure. We are staying in a private villa on an island off the town of Elounda. A sleepy fishing village with incredible cuisine, smiling locals, and the narrowest, winding roads imaginable. To the back of us a short hike away is a sandy beach of turquoise, salty sea.

Along the theme of Spring Cleaning, do you have a regular routine to clean your brushes? If not, it is recommended to clean them at least once a week to prevent bacteria buildup and maintain their performance. The best way to clean your brushes is to use a gentle cleanser or shampoo with warm water. Wet the brushes and apply the cleanser and swirl them in the palm of your hand. Rinse thoroughly and reshape them and lay flat to dry.

As part of your Spring Cleaning routine, don't forget to go through your facial products and make-up to check for any expired products in your collection. Expired makeup can harbor harmful bacteria and can lead to skin irritation and breakouts. So don't undo all that great skincare work by using expired products!
