Let’s talk enzymatic exfoliation and why I love using enzymes in the treatment room. ✨
Cocoa Enzyme is suitable for all skin types, but I especially love it for acne-prone, rosacea, and sensitive skin. It contains bromelain, papain, trypsin, and cocoa, which help gently exfoliate while providing soothing and anti-inflammatory benefits.
Raspberry Enzyme is my go-to for clients looking to address signs of aging, sun damage, and pigmentation. It contains red raspberry, a powerful antioxidant, along with naturally occurring azelaic acid to help brighten and support a more even complexion.
Zymase Enzyme is ideal for damaged, aged, or heavily keratinized skin. It contains lemon peel powder and ascorbic acid (vitamin C) to help smooth, firm, and provide antioxidant support.
Almost every client starts with an enzyme exfoliation because it’s an effective way to exfoliate without over-stripping the skin. Sometimes less is more—especially during your first facial. More often than not, we need to focus on supporting and repairing the skin barrier before aggressively targeting specific concerns.
That’s why gentle enzymes are a staple in my treatment room. They help create healthier, stronger skin while still delivering beautiful results. ✨🤍
