I am so proud of this girl!!!! I got to do her hair the other day, and I couldn’t help be listen to how excited she was about her new adventure. She has made the decision to go defend our country and fight for the freedoms we exercise every day. Congrats on graduating high school and enjoy the next adventure 💜💜

Get Better Not Bitter!

Stay with me, long post ahead.

We are all sick of being at home by now. We have watched all of our favorite TV shows. We have spent endless amounts of time playing board games, our laundry is caught up, and we are simply over it. But this whole situation is either going to be as good, or as bad as we make it. I decided today was a good day to get ready and make the best of it.

If you are like me, you simply hate being alone. I grew up with siblings and have never really had to be alone. So this for me, has been much harder than I thought it was going to be. The first few days I sat on the couch and watched at much TV as I possibly could. I was literally annoying myself. Crazy right?! So I decided to change what I could and here is was I did:

1. I am spending more time in my daily devotional. Actually reading it and seeing how it is applying to my life.
2. I am teaching myself how to play the guitar off of YouTube.
3. I am seeing just how many days dry shampoo can really work. Because lets be honest, I am not going to see anyone anyways so who cares.
4. I have FaceTimed friends who I have kept telling myself I would call when I had more time. Well, I am not going to have anymore time than right now.
5. I have gone on a diet. I am a horrible stress eater. I know this about myself. Your girl can put down some food when I am stressed. So I am controlling what I can at this time.
6. I have yes even become bored enough to start working out. We take moving our body for granted. Even a 10 minute work out on the living room floor will make you feel better!
7. My sister and I call each other in the morning and give each one a challenge for the day. Totally her idea. She is the best.
8. Take this time to better your skin care routine, try the new makeup, the new hair style (DON'T CUT OR COLOR YOUR OWN HAIR!!!!), do whatever it is you have been wanting to do and just simply have not had the time to do.

What are you during these times to better yourself and not get bitter? Comment down below, your answer might help someone else!

I have availability this week!!!

Let’s have some real talk for a minute. Last week I was feeling very overwhelmed with working crazy hours. I was wore out and just having an off week. Lloyd came in a reminded me why I love my job. After just a couple hours in my chair he reminded me that the long hours are so worth it 💜 so Lloyd thank you for coming in for a hair color, but for really doing so much more for me. Sometimes the people that have the biggest impact in your life, are completely unexpected💜💜💜
