I have the best assistant ever. She organizes toys, sweeps, does laundry, helps clients sit still, always has the best snacks, greets you as you come, blows kisses as you go. Unless you're Paul then you also get fist bumps.The best part if you're lucky she will pet you. (Pretty sure she thinks that's what our job is just petting people.) Huge thanks to everyone who still supports me through the chaos and clutter. I truly am doing the best I can right now.

Please take a moment to read—this is a little long, but it truly means so much to our family. 🫶🏼

For those of you who may not know, my sister Marissa Tillman is currently 25 weeks pregnant. About four weeks ago, at her 20-week ultrasound, she and her fiancé received news that no expecting parent is ever prepared to hear.

After meeting with a cardiologist, their baby has been diagnosed with Tricuspid Atresia, a rare and serious congenital heart condition. In simple terms, one of the valves in his heart did not form the way it should, which affects normal blood flow and means his heart has to work harder than it’s meant to.

While this journey won’t be easy, there were also some encouraging updates. The doctors feel hopeful about his current blood flow, and there is even a possibility he may be able to avoid his first surgery—but that will not be known until after birth. He will still require specialized care, medication, and future heart surgeries as he grows.

Because of this, my sister will need to relocate to Salt Lake City a few weeks before her due date to be closely monitored by a team of specialists, and they will remain there for a period of time after he is born. This means time away from work, home, and added financial stress during an already overwhelming season.

We are coming together to support them the best we can. We are currently organizing a silent auction fundraiser (date and time to be determined) and are reaching out to our community for help. We are looking for donations from local businesses or individuals—gift baskets, services, products, experiences—anything at all would be incredibly appreciated.

If you or someone you know would be willing to donate an item for the auction, please reach out to me or one of the individuals tagged in this post.

Most of all, we ask for your prayers. Please keep them in your prayers as they navigate this journey. There is so much hope, and we are holding onto that every step of the way.

Lord, we ask that You place Your healing hands over this sweet baby boy. Give strength, peace, and comfort to my sister and her family in the days ahead. Guide the doctors, protect this little life, and surround them with love, hope, and support every step of the way. Amen.
