With much prayer and consideration. Lord's willing the salon will be reopening for business starting June 2, 2020. Online booking is suspended for right now. I will be serving all my regular clients first. I am not accepting new clients at this time. Also, there was an email sent out (to all the clients that booked through styleseat and I had their email) today with the "NEW POLICIES AND PROCEDURES ". If you didn't not recieve one please contact me by calling the salon at (205) 518-5700 so that I can send it to you. Thank you so much for your continued love, support and prayers! Mo💜

It has been brought to my attention that Governor Kay Ivey has lifted the orders for salons, barbershop, gyms etc. At this time "The Hair Sanctuary Salon and Barber Salon LLC" will remain closed. I know everyone is excited and ready to return but I still have some concerns about opening the doors. 1) being that it is still hard to get an ample amount of cleaning supplies and disinfect that we use in the salon. Yes I already have some and I have purchased some. 2) I want to make sure that I get understanding on all the rules and regulations before re-entering. And mostly I want to get CLEAR direction from my Heavenly Father! I will keep all of my beloved clients,friends and customers updated when I will be returning to the salon. I am not exactly sure when we will be opening the salon doors. I can assure you that we will be taking all precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all of our clients. Be on the look out for the new policies and procedures via email in the up coming days. 🥰 🙏🏾 ❤

I hope this post finds you and your family well! I wanted to let you know that I miss you dearly and can't wait till we are together again. As you know we are in the midst of a serious pandemic. Our health and safety is the most important at this time. I am not sure when we will be able to return to the salon but I do know that God will see us through this. My prayer is that God leads me and guide me along the way so when we do return it is the safest manner possible. For I know many are ready to return right away but I must carefully listen to the Holy Spirit. I know that things will not be the same and we will have to create a new normal. So let's be prayerfully and patient as God leads us along the way. I will be sending out an email/text in the coming days with new policies and procedures. For now please disregard all appointment reminders. I will be reaching out to you with more information about the opening of the salon. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing......please grab your bible or even look up the following scriptures (5-12) on your bible app. We must remember that trails are apart of God's "good gifts" to his people, to strengthen them in their faith. Pray for today : Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you as humble as I know how. Lord God I honor you and adore you. I love you and trust you. You are great and mighty. God I ask you to forgive me for my sins knowing and unknowing. Lord God I thank you for your forgiveness towards me. I thank you for you brand new grace and mercy. Lord God I ask that you continue to keep my mind stayed on you, that you continue to give me your perfect peace. I know that nothing catches you by surprise. Lord I love and I pray this prayer in your son Jesus name. AMEN

As we all face unprecedented times I am aware and that many are afraid of not being able to go to work. For I am a stylist/salon owner as well who was told that all nonessential businesses had to close by 5pm on yesterday. On today I have gotten several texts and call that stylist and barbers can work. I simply answered by saying "I trust God". We must be mindful that we are putting ourselves and our clients at risk. 1) YES, it is possible for me to only have 1 client at a time or have 2 and practice social distancing......But, No I "can not" practice social distancing from my client. While at the shampoo bowl, you or your client can cough, sneeze or anything. For people are still getting tested daily. Many are not even aware if they have Covid 19 for they may not have any symptoms yet. 2) Yes, I can wear a mask and disinfect behind each client......But there is already a shortage on mask for the doctors and nurses that are serving on the front line. 3) Yes, I would like to go to work so that I can provide for my family...... But I don't won't to risk spending this invisible enemy (in my Trump voice 😆). Like I said earlier "I am trusting God" for he is my provider. I am so thankful that in January during 21 days of prayer the Lord lead me to fast from going out to eat and start cooking more at home and no spending money unnecessarily (shopping, etc). For he knew that this pandemic was going to happen (nothing catches him by surprise). He was preparing me financially and mentally that is why it is so important that we know him Spiritually. JESUS IS THE ANSWER to all this that is going on. We must turn from our wicked ways and pray. Unfortunately the world has made everything right to do wrong to do, and everything wrong to do right to do, and God is not pleased. We as Christians have to stop talking the talk and walk the walk the way God would have us to and stop making excuses. It time to stay off Facebook and Instagram and get more in his word (Bible). So when such a time as this we know what his word says. For it will give us direction, encouragement and comfort. So I said all of that to say that I am praying for God to lead and guide me as to the reopening of the salon. I want to be obedient to his direction. I also want to do my part to combat the spend of this deadly disease. I know many would like to come in and get that wonderful shampoo ☺. I promise you won't die if we have to wait a week or two more than you would like. But it is for our safety. And for any stylist/barber, self employed business owner that may be reading this post let's take this time to reevaluate our spending habit and saving habits. Take this time to see just how much money we may be blowing . Maybe we are living beyond our means.....maybe we need to get a more reasonable car note.....maybe we don't need to buy that purse or pair of shoes and save it.......maybe we need to start tithing off of everything we make.......maybe we need to start spending more time with our kids and not all day and night and every weekend at the salon.......maybe we need to start taking our lunch to work instead of going out for lunch. JUST MAYBE God is trying to teach us some lesson during this time of staying in. So let's take this time to re-set. Let's get to know more about God, have a relationship with him, trust him, and lean and depend on him. Be Blessed and Stay Safe. Mo💞
